Description:
The three GE on the point of the northbound Coast Cans work hard as they lug their empty train upgrade through Serrano. Cuesta Grade may be rather short as railroad mountain passes go, at just over 15 miles between San Luis Obispo and Santa Margarita. But in its case the short distance can be a bit deceiving as 2.2% grades and tight curves predominating almost the entire route.
